Greyhounds
as pets... |
Retired Greyhounds
are
beautiful, loyal and
intelligent pets. If given love
and attention, proper food,
medical care and exercise, they can live a long life (12 - 14 years.)
They will provide
companionship and unconditional love in return.
Greyhounds are always
"greytful" to their new family.

Greyhound
Rescue of N.E. had been in business saving needy dogs for over 20
years. We've been very busy these days - we've closed the kennel
in Mendon and we are now leasing space at Greyhound Friends' kennel in
Hopkinton. As racing has ended in Florida, getting in Greyhounds
in the U.S. becomes more and more rare. We've formed partnerships
to bring in Irish retired Greyhounds, Galgos and Podencos from
Portugual. We also continue to save needy mix breeds from the
south who have no where to go as they end up homeless. You can
donate to help by using the "Donate" button at the top of this page.
If you'd like to know more about our available dogs, please follow
our Facebook page, call the kennel or email us. Thanks everyone
for all your support, we can't continue without you :-)
